Automotive Networks Joint Laboratory is a cooperation of IHR GmbH Germany and Tongji University Shanghai. Professor Yu Zhuoping, dean of the “College of Automotive engineering” (CAE) at Tongji University in Shanghai and Jörg Holzberg, managing director of IHR Germany signed the strategic cooperation agreement in automotive networking.

The purpose of launching the “Automotive Networks Joint Laboratory” is the mutual benefit of experiences and know-how of automotive bus systems. |
IHR as an established provider of CAN and LIN test and measuring tools as well as the “College of Automotive Engineering” offer long-time knowledge in the testing of ECUs and bus systems. The cooperation is completed by the accredited “IHR LIN Conformance Test Center” one of three test centers world-wide. Beside the development of a new generation of valuable and inexpensive measuring tools for the LIN and the CAN bus the “Automotive Networks Joint Laboratory” is concentrating on further existing and on future bus systems, such as Flexray or C2C communication. The projected application area according to Jörg Holzberg, chairman of the council, ranges from fuel cell applications to intelligent traffic management systems. Furthermore IHR provides several opportunities for internships and master thesis accepted by the “College of Automotive Engineering” at Tongji University. |
