Brief Description

The LIN Driver Configuration Tool (LDC) enables the designers to easily add a LIN interface to their applications using Infineon® Embedded Power IC. The LIN configuration tool supports LIN specifications 1.3, 2.0 and 2.1. The driver can be fully integrated into the Code Composer IDE.The LIN Driver Configuration Tool (LDC) simply needs basic information such as:

  • The using Infineon® Embedded Power IC derivate
  • The LIN Description File (LDF)
  • The node to be implemented (as per LDF)
  • The controller speed

Additionally, designers can select optional services as per LIN specifications. Experienced users can change hardware-specific settings. The tool then generates C Code for the embedded project. The configuration can be stored for later usage, the code generated supports the specified compliant LIN API.Therefore, the project manager can concentrate on the applications and rely on the LIN certified driver.
